Alma Road Films was created by Christopher Pizzey in January 2007. Its goal is to take emotive stories and ideas harvested from the world of imagination and realize them through the media of film and television onto the big screen.
The conception of Alma Road Films came about after Christopher wrote "GLYPH" a short film about the struggle faced by a mysterious man who is found washed up onto a deserted beach. Once the idea had been developed into the shooting script and co-producing company Wildbeast Films had come on board, the film was shot successfully on location in Norfolk. So far it has received acclaim at the Filmstock festival 2007 as well as at the Short Film Corner, Cannes 2007.
Alma Road Films has many projects in various stages of development. At the forefront of the slate is another co-production with Wildbeast Films and Red Panda Pictures. This time it's a feature film called "GRIP".
